Hii, I’m Sabrina. This is me and my wonderful boyfriend, Dallen. We met when he was in 7th grade and I was in 8th. We didn’t know each other for that long when we first got together, on October 28th, 2007. Even though we went to the same school.. we acted like we didn’t even know each other because both of us were really shy. It got to the point where he didn’t care anymore.. so he broke up with me. But I was happy that he did. I didn’t think we were fit for each other anyways. The next year, I moved onto high school as a freshman, while he was an 8th grader. I honestly didn’t care about him at all. And I didn’t like him for what he did to me that year before. During freshmen year, I got into a relationship with a new guy. We lasted for a year and a half.. but in the end, I got heartbroken. But soon after the breakup, I started dating someone else. But he broke up with me, which tore my heart in two, once again. I was tired of relationships.. tired of guys.. and tired of love. I was single, and I wanted it to stay that way. Then out of the blue, I got a friend request on facebook. It was Dallen. At first, I was really surprised, because him being a freshman, and me a sophomore that year, we’d see each other everyday at school. Whenever we “accidentally” made eye contact, I would give him a mean look. But I went ahead and accepted him. I didn’t expect him to try and talk to me, but he sent me a message saying hi. So from there, we started talking and we became friends. On that same day, he asked me, “What happened to us back then?” It was hard for me to answer.. because I really didn’t know. All I knew was that he did me wrong and I hated him for that.

After a couple days, he already told me that he liked me. It made me hesitant and doubtful.. why would he like me that quick? But there was an even bigger problem.. I was still very much in love with my ex.. the one who I lasted a year and a half with. During that time me and Dallen first started talking.. my ex didn’t want me back like I wanted him. No matter how hard I tried, he didn’t want me. I wanted to give up, because I didn’t want anyone but him. But me and Dallen still continued to talk as friends. And very, VERY slowly, I developed feelings for him.. but I didn’t wanna say anything until I was sure. After awhile.. my ex came back to me saying that he now wanted me back. But I thought of it as bullshit because he only said it because the girl he was tryna get with before didn’t like him anymore. Even though I loved him, I just couldn’t go back to him. But at the same time, I didn’t wanna be with Dallen either. I did like him, but I was afraid.. I didn’t wanna get hurt and I wasn’t looking for another relationship. So I told him we had to stop talking. He was hurt, and I made him cry. It made me realize that he really did like me a lot. So after a couple days of not talking to him, I decided to hit him up just to say hi. I told him that I wanted to take things slowly, and that’s what we did. Then on May 18th, 2010 @ 10:05 AM, he randomly surprised me with a single red rose, and asked me to be his girlfriend. And of course I said yes <3 Till this day, we have our ups and downs. We’ve had plenty of fights, but I know it just makes us stronger as a couple. He is the sweetest, most caring guy I know. Even though a lot of people don’t approve of us being together, I know that in the end, we’ll prove them all wrong. I’m glad that I gave him a chance and that I chose him over my ex.. because he treats me 10x better than anyone else ever has. I love you so much babe <3
